I am a User-Centered Design Professional
and Educator.
My wife Pia and I live with our dog, Finnegan in Chicago’s Humboldt Park neighborhood, where we step out each day to explore the world from the ground-up. At home I enjoy cooking and dining, gardening, and exploring family roots. At-large, I am at my best when finding solutions for problems that are important to people. You will often find me talking ‘shop’ about my craft and learning what others are up to at one of the fine local establishments in our neighborhood..
I am a facilitator and a true student of my projects. I work closely with clients to understand the context of their expertise so as to effectively facilitate the creation of visual presentations. My approach emphasizes principles of argumentation, visual clarity, and discerning relations of information while building upon existing information assets. With an end goal of designing a positive user experience, I work with clients to create a clear, authoritative, and expert presentation.
